We are now hiring for Summer 2025 Camp Staff!
Neighbors Plus hires college-aged counselors to plan and lead activities with 5-12 year old campers for the Great Escape Summer Day Camp (campers must be going into Kindergarten - 7th grade for the upcoming school year). Candidates should be outgoing, love children, and have experience leading kids. Counselor shifts vary between 7:30 a.m.- 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with no nights or weekends (camp ends at 5:30 p.m. for our campers, but we use that extra 30 minutes for clean-up and to prepare for the next day). Great Escape Day Camp is located at Harderwyk Ministries (1619 W. Lakewood Blvd. on the north side of Holland). Candidates are expected to attend in-house training, prior to the start of camp.
Camp Training Dates: May 29-30 and June 2-5. (Paid)
Camp Dates: June 9th - August 8th; camp is closed July 3-4 and July 14-18.

Assistant Camp Counselors
A limited number of positions are available to high school juniors, seniors, and graduates as Assistant Counselors during camp, assisting the camp counselors in planning and implementing summer activities. Assistant counselor shifts vary between 8:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, beginning June 9, with training prior to camp (we are able to work around your year-end school schedule for training).

Volunteer Junior Counselors
Volunteer Junior Counselors work with one camper group for one week of camp during the summer. Volunteer Junior Counselors must be at least 14 years-old and entering 9th grade or higher.
